Gärten der Welt Berlin – Where Ideas Bloom

For the past 15 years, Gärten der Welt Berlin (Gardens of the World) in Berlin’s Marzahn district has been a constant source of inspiration for me — a place where my creativity is sparked, my spirit finds calm, and my imagination is free to wander. Every visit feels different, as if the gardens change along with me, offering new ideas and perspectives depending on the season or my state of mind. What began as occasional strolls to admire the park’s beauty has evolved into something much more — a deeply personal sanctuary, where creative thoughts take root and my inner world finds room to grow and breathe.

Over time, my relationship with Gärten der Welt has taken on more tangible dimensions. The gardens have not only fueled my ideas and artistic expression, but they’ve also provided breathtaking backdrops for my modeling shoots. The landscapes here are anything but ordinary — they are visual narratives. Each carefully designed space allows me to capture moments where the beauty of the environment enhances and deepens my own presence in front of the lens. From the structured elegance of the Oriental Garden to the poetic charm of the Italian Renaissance Garden, each scene invites me to tell a different story — one rich with mood, memory, and artistry.

The Oriental Garden at Gärten der Welt: A Muse for Bold Creativity

Among the many spaces that have sparked my creativity, the Oriental Garden stands out as a place of architectural rhythm and visual poetry. Each visit shifts my thinking. The bold colors, intricate mosaics, and symmetrical patterns seem to awaken a part of my mind that thrives on structure, detail, and imagination. Whether I’m standing beneath its arches or gazing at the interplay of shadows on tile, I often feel new concepts bubbling to the surface.

This garden has also become one of my most treasured photo shoot locations. Its strong geometric lines and rich textures lend themselves perfectly to high-contrast compositions. Blending my own visual language with the garden’s dramatic scenery has led to some of my favorite creative results. There’s a kind of dialogue between the body and space here — one that challenges and energizes me as both artist and subject.

The Chinese Garden: A Sanctuary for Reflection

When I’m seeking calm or clarity, I’m drawn to the Chinese Garden of the Reclaimed Moon. Designed around ancient principles of harmony and natural balance, this space offers a serene counterpoint to the busyness of everyday life. I often come here when I need to breathe, reflect, or gently untangle a knot of creative frustration.

There’s a quiet magic in the way this garden holds space for thought. From its koi ponds to its curved bridges and bamboo groves, everything feels intentional. It’s also where I’ve staged some of my most peaceful and introspective modeling sessions. The garden’s muted colors and soft textures allow me to convey stillness and emotional depth — qualities I value deeply in both my personal life and creative work.

The Italian Renaissance Garden: Gärten der Welt’s Romantic Escape

While some gardens ground me, the Italian Renaissance Garden lifts me into a world of romantic daydreams. Modeled after classical gardens in Tuscany and Rome, it features elegant pathways, stone statues, and carefully trimmed hedges that seem pulled from another era. Walking through this space, I find myself slipping into fantasy, imagining stories and characters that could have lived in such a setting.

For modeling work, this garden offers endless creative possibilities. Its historical elegance and dramatic compositions create a cinematic atmosphere. During golden hour, the light filters through the trees and casts a soft, warm glow across every surface — perfect for capturing timeless, emotive imagery. This is where I feel free to embody a different version of myself — dreamy, dramatic, deeply inspired.

A World of Gardens, A World of Ideas

Beyond these three highlights, Gärten der Welt Berlin offers a global array of landscapes that continually inspire and surprise me. The Japanese Garden of Merging Water, with its flowing lines and minimalist aesthetic, invites quiet contemplation. The Balinese Garden, housed within a greenhouse, transports me to a tropical haven rich with exotic plants and spiritual symbolism. The Korean “Seoul” Garden balances nature and architecture in harmonious dialogue, while the English Garden channels the charm of countryside estates with open lawns and rustic beauty.

Each of these gardens has made an appearance in my creative process and modeling portfolio. The Balinese Garden’s lush greenery adds intensity and energy to my images, while the Japanese Garden’s quiet elegance allows for more meditative visual storytelling. The international diversity of the park feeds my curiosity and motivates me to keep evolving. In a single afternoon, I can travel through continents — in style, in feeling, in focus — without ever leaving Berlin.

Growing with Gärten der Welt: A Journey of Creative and Personal Evolution

Returning to Gärten der Welt feels like coming home, even when I’m searching for something new inside myself. There’s a quiet magic in how these spaces invite me to slow down, breathe deeply, and let imagination bloom. Each visit feels like finding a secret door to a new world, where creativity is not forced but gently awakened.  These gardens aren’t just beautiful places—they are companions on my journey of self-discovery and creativity. Walking here, I feel both grounded and free—like the gardens understand my soul’s needs.

Many of my most valuable insights have emerged while walking these pathways, either deep in thought or simply enjoying the moment. The gardens have allowed me to merge movement with mindfulness, vision with nature, style with setting. They’ve become an extension of my creative self — a natural studio, a trusted muse, and a refuge all in one. I’ve discovered that creativity doesn’t always require a blank page — sometimes it starts with a walk through a beautifully curated landscape that awakens what’s already inside you.

More Than a Garden –  a Part of Me

After 15 years, Gärten der Welt is no longer just a destination — it’s a living part of my story. A place where inspiration grows, season after season. The Oriental Garden pushes me to think differently. The Chinese Garden brings me back to center. The Italian Renaissance Garden opens the doors to fantasy. And throughout it all, the gardens have welcomed my artistic expression, whether through writing, daydreaming, or modeling.

Yes, the journey to Marzahn takes a little extra time. But every visit is worth it. Each garden offers a new mood, a new lens, and a fresh start. In this space, creativity and calm walk hand in hand. And I always leave with more than I arrived with — a clearer mind, new ideas, and sometimes, the perfect photograph to remember it all.
